Laurie has always had a connection with animals, especially horses and dogs.
She has been drawing them since she first held a pencil! She is an award
winning artist, and lives in Northern California. In her artwork, she captures
the spirit and essence of her subjects with extreme feeling and accuracy.
Laurie works mainly in oil pastels, as she feels it most accurately captures the
texture and feel of the animal, and ultimately the spirit of each individual.
